Head of Tehran Int’l Quran Expo Selected

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance appointed the head of the 25th Tehran International Quran Exhibition.

In a decree, Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri introduced Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati as the head of this year’s grand Quranic event.

Salehi Amiri in this decree expressed hope for the cleric’s success in organizing the exhibition by benefiting from past experiences and the potentials in the field of Quran and Etrat in the country.

He also called for proper and timely planning for best holding the event.

Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati, who is the ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy, served as the head of the exhibition in the past two editions as well.

The ministry annually organizes the event in the holy month of Ramadan.

It is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.
