ICRO Chief Highlights Dialogue in Religions

Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman noted that messengers of God invited people to reflection and respect for the Creator and creation and on this path held dialogue not only with their followers but also with their opponents.

He made the remarks on Monday at the closing ceremony of a cultural dialogue between Iran and the Arab world.

Ebrahimi Torkaman referred to the violence originating from Takfirism as a big problem in today’s world and said dialogue among thinkers and domination of logic is the path toward resolving this problem that has plagued the region and the world.

He noted that for this reason, and in line with the guidelines set by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, ICRO has set up a secretariat for cultural dialogue and the secretariat organized the first edition of a cultural dialogue between Iran and the Arab world.

The cultural dialogue between Iran and the Arab world was held at Ferdowsi University in the holy city of Mashhad, northeast Iran.
