TEHRAN (IQNA) – A specialized course on how to write Quranic research started in Iraq’s al-Shaab city.

The Quranic center of the city, in Baghdad governorate, is hosting the course, which began on Friday February 10, al-Kafeel website reported.

The Center for Quranic Sciences, Interpretation and Quran Printing affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine has organized the educational program.

It said the course is aimed at encouraging research on issues related to the Quran and Etrat.

According to Sheikh Ziaeddin Zubeidi, who teaches the course, a large number of scholars, researchers and students have taken part in the program.

It is held on Fridays for seven weeks and each session lasts for three hours.

The participants learn scholarly methods of writing Quranic research papers.
