Recitation of Top Contender in Hamburg Quran Contest for European Muslims

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Mohammad Mohammadi is a German citizen who came first in the recitation category of the 6th international Quran competition for European Muslims.

 

He bagged the top prize in the recitation category of the competition.

The Quranic event was organized at the Islamic Center Hamburg on March 2-4.

Representatives of ten European countries, including Germany, Belgium, Britain, France and Denmark, took part in the contest.

The categories included Quran recitation, Quran memorization, Adhan (call to prayers), and Quranic concepts.

The center annually organizes the competition with the aim of promoting the Quranic culture and identifying Quranic talents among European Muslims.
