Tehran Province Quran Contest: Winners of First Stage Announced
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The winners of the first stage of the 43rd Quran competition of Tehran province were announced on Sunday.
This stage of the contest started on July 12 and concluded on July 14.
A number of top Quran memorizers and reciters such as Mansour Qasrizadeh, Mohammad Rasool Takbiri, Mahmoud Norouzi, Habib Sedaqat and Ali Khoshnoud are among the winners in the first round.
The winners made it to the next round, which will be held at the provincial stage.
More than 500 Quran activists participated in this stage of the competition, which was supervised by 35 Quran experts.
They competed in different categories, including Quran recitation, memorization, and Adhan (call to prayer).
