Muslims Welcome Ramadan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Muslims in many countries started fasting on Tuesday, April 13, after observing the crescent moon of the holy month of Ramadan.

In some countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and Japan, Muslims said the first Taraweeh prayers (special Ramadan prayers) while fully observing the health protocol, including social distancing.

In many other countries, Wednesday, April 14, will be the beginning of the holy month.
