Adhan Recitation by Egyptian Qari Ragheb Mustafa Ghalwash

TEHRAN (IQNA) – One of Egypt’s outstanding Quran reciters of all times is Ragheb Mustafa Ghalwash.

 

Born in July 1938, he had a beautiful voice and his recitations are still played on radio stations in the Arab and Muslim world.

His recitations are still played in Arab and Islamic world’s radio and TV channels.

The Egyptian Qari traveled to many countries for Quran recitation, including Britain, Canada, the US, and France.

He also visited Iran four times between 1989 and 2002 and traveled to different cities.

Ghalwash died on February 4, 2016 at the age of 78.

Egypt is a country in North Africa with a population of around 96 million.

Muslims account for around 90 percent of the country’s total population.

Quranic activities are very common in the Muslim-majority Arab country and many of the Muslim world’s top Qaris in the past and present have been Egyptian.
