Khan Theological School in Yazd

YAZD (IQNA) – Established in 1772, Khan Theological School is one of the historic seminaries in the central Iranian province.

Muhammad Taghi Khan, one of the famous rulers of Yazd, ordered the construction of the school. Located in the historical context of the city of Yazd, the school has an area of 2,910 square meters and has three courtyards.

Iranian and foreign tourists visit the site during school vacations to get a glimpse of its eye-catching architecture which goes back to Zandiyeh and Qajar eras.
