“Iran, The Cradle of Peaceful Religious Coexistence” to Be Unveiled

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A book titled “Iran, The Cradle of Peaceful Coexistence” will be unveiled by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) on November 23.


According to ICRO’s website, the book has been published in English by the Center for Inter-religious Dialogue, affiliated to the organization.





The book will be unveiled in a ceremony with the participation of representatives of religious minorities in Iran, intellectuals, scholars, and academic and cultural figures.





Ayatollah Taskhiri, advisor to the Supreme Leader in the Muslim world affairs, Ebrahimi Torkaman, the head of ICRO, Hojat-ol-Islam Yunesi, the Iranian president's assitant in ethnic and religious minorities affairs, will be among participants in the program.





The Al-Zahra Huseyniya (public hall for religious ceremonies) of the organization in Tehran will host the program at 9:30 a.m.





The book is considered a valuable cultural work published in 280 pages.



It introduces the Iranian religious minorities’ history, rituals and activities as well as social and cultural aspects of their life.





A photo exhibition of religious traditions and other aspects of the life of this group of the Iranian people will be held on the sidelines of the ceremony.
