Last month, the Astan declared Eid al- Mabath (the Day Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was appointed to deliver His mission) as the world Quran day.
It also launched a campaign to promote activities marking the world Quran day on the 27th day of the lunar Hijri month of Rajab (March 22), including recitations of the Quran.
According to Sheikh Hassan al-Mansouri, director of the Astan’s Dar-ol-Quran Center, Qaris from countries like Iran, Syria, Bahrain, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Mali, Nigeria, Indonesia, Kuwait, Burkina Faso and Yemen have joined the ongoing campaign by recording their Quran recitations and sending them to the center.
