Karbala Al-Kafeel Museum Sees Surge in Visitors During Eid Holidays

IQNA – The Al-Kafeel Museum, located inside the shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala, is seeing an uptick in visitors during the Eid al-Fitr holidays.

The museum opens its doors early in the morning and hosts visitors until evening, according to authorities, Al-Kafeel news website reported.

The al-Kafeel Museum stands out as a significant cultural institution among the holy shrines. Inaugurated in 2009 concurrent with the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (SA), the museum houses an extensive collection of precious artifacts and manuscripts.

Meanwhile, the museum's restoration lab is actively engaged in the conservation of historical treasures, including ancient weapons. These artifacts, whether donated or acquired, have silently borne witness to numerous invasions and conflicts over the centuries.
