Muslim World Literary Award Planned

Iran's Art Bureau Director Mohsen Momeni-Sharif said an international literary award is planned to be given to top literary works in the Muslim world.

He said the award will be presented to works with the theme of "resistance" and "Islamic Awakening", Fars news agency reported.
He said the Art Bureau will present the award in cooperation with a number of other cultural institutions.
Momeni-Sharif hoped that the initiative will work as an encouragement to Muslim world authors and promote books on issues like Islamic awakening and Islamic resistance.
