Iran’s Islamic Revolution Created Hope among Deprived Nations

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The story of the Iranian revolution is not similar to the story of other revolutions in the 20th century, as the wave of Islamic revolution swept away the Shah’s corrupt regime and brought a new political discourse, which cannot be categorized either as a communist or a capitalist.

The Iranian revolution was a religious uprising, introduced the materialistic civilization to the force of true Islam and jeopardized the interests of Western colonialism.

Today, it is a proven fact that the 1979 Islamic revolution created great hope among the deprived nations throughout the world. While completely refraining from interfering in the internal affairs of other nations, the Article 154 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran clearly states that prosperity, independence, freedom, the rule of law and justice are the incontrovertible rights of all the peoples of the world and Iran seeks to propagate freedom and liberty and supports the struggle of the oppressed nations against the dark hegemony of arrogant powers.

Since its inception, the Islamic Republic of Iran has challenged the world’s corrupt political system and created new political spaces that enabled the oppressed Palestinian masses to resist the American Imperialism and its despicable lackey, Israel. Today and more than any other time, the political scientists argue that Israel became a failed state on the brink of ultimate collapse as Iran and its allies tighten their noose around America’s mad dog. Iran constantly lambasts the west for its blind support for the baby-killing Zionist regime and deems Israel to be a cancerous tumor which ought to be removed for the sake of humanity.

To impede Iran’s campaign to support underdog nations during the past four decades, the United States has imposed an 8-year war and cruel sanctions on Iran and endlessly tried to sabotage the Iranian technology and industries.

But Iran’s continued development and impressive industrial progress while the enemies’ sanctions are in place, conveys the message to the world that Iran shall never stop attempting for the development and prosperity and in the same time resist the US vicious plots. In fact, the Iranian nation has managed to overcome all challenges facing the Islamic Revolution over the past forty-two years and no predicament can bring Iran’s revolution to its knees and Iranians will continue on their path with firm resolve.
