Titled “Qira’at” [recitations], the program is co-organized by the Union of Quran Reciters and Memorizers in Egypt the framework of the ministry's interest in serving the Holy Quran and caring for its memorizers, Akhbarelyom reported.
Awqaf (Endowment) Minister Mohammed Mokhtar Gomaa had earlier told a meeting of the Union that major contemporary qaris, as well as new talents, will participate in the program.
The program, he continued, is a major step in serving the Book of God and highlights the continuation of golden recitations era in Egypt.
The program will be supervised by the country’s central administration for mosques and Quran affairs and those interested can follow the daily episodes on YouTube and Telegram.
