Members of Tehran Int’l Quran Expo’s Policy-Making Council Appointed

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Culture Minister Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili appointed members of the policy-making council of the 29th Tehran International Quran Exhibition.

In separate decrees, he named the ministry’s Quran and Etrat deputy, Ali Reza Moaf, as the head of the exhibition, and Mohammad Mehdi Aziz Zadeh as its deputy.

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Qomi, Hojat-ol-Islam Mehdi Khamoushi, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hajabolqassem, Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi, Mohammad Ali Khajepiri, Mehdi Mostafavi, Seyed Ali Sarabi, Meysam Neili, Mahmoud Shaloei, Mahmoud Eslami, Mahmoud Salari and Zeynab Bahjatpour are the other members of the council appointed by the culture minister.

Esmaeili had said earlier that this year’s international Quranic event will be organized in person.

The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan (falls in April this year).

In 2020 the expo was called off and in 2021 it was held virtually due to the coronavirus restrictions in the country.

The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
