With the license issued by the national committee to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and with the direct order of President Ebrahim Raeisi, grounds were prepared to stage the Quran exhibition concurrent with the month of Ramadan and under health guidelines, he added.

After a two-year pause due to the coronavirus restrictions, the exhibition will be held here in the Iranian capital again this year.

The exhibition will reflect the performances of various institutes and organizations in the field of the Quran, Azizzadeh said, adding that the exhibition will also provide an opportunity for the people to get acquainted with the beauties of the Quran.

Scheduled for the 15th to 27th days of Ramadan (April 17-29), it will be held at Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (grand prayer hall).

People can buy their required religious products in the event which will also include products related to the hijab, added the official.

The event will take place from 17 to 23:30 local time, he said, adding that as this time coincides with sunset, a simple iftar meal will also be provided for the visitors.

The motto of this edition is “Quran, Book of Hope and Peace”.

The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.

The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.

In 2020 the expo was called off and in 2021 it was held virtually due to the coronavirus restrictions in the country.
